Alexander King

Alexander King is the Founder and CEO of Shaping Lives for Tomorrow, Inc.  This nonprofit was established in 2015.  Alexander King is a retired Army veteran with 31 years of military service and training.  His Military Operational Specialty was a Senior Human Resources professional with multiple years of continued education and experience as an Equal Opportunity Leader and Substance Abuse Counselor. Once he noticed the urgent need to serve the at-risk youth, Mr. King knew he needed to find an outlet to provide them with the necessary life skills to aid them in becoming functional members of society.

Mr. King's educational background; he's currently enrolled in a Doctoral program for Public Administration. His completion date is January 2024. He has earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master's in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II).  With over 25 years of experience working with at-risk teens and young adults, he has been employed at youth development centers, youth detention centers, and other juvenile facilities along with other local youth groups, such as church and faith groups.  His primary goal for this nonprofit is to impact the lives of youth in his community by providing them with the necessary life skills to become productive and impactful members of society.
